Resources
Resources
This hub would act as the main entry point for Hope Council's educational and self-navigation content. It should help visitors find plain-language information, safety guidance, family support resources, prevention tools, and local directories without needing to know exactly what kind of help they need first.
Resources Hub Purpose
How this hub would work
The page would organize Hope Council's resource library around real visitor needs: understanding substances, supporting teens, finding recovery options, responding to overdose risk, and locating local services. The tone should stay direct, compassionate, practical, and nonjudgmental.
For people looking for answers
Short explainers would help someone understand risks, warning signs, safer next steps, and when to reach out for support.
For families and loved ones
Content would explain how to talk with someone, recognize concern, set boundaries, and find support without blame or shame.
For parents and caregivers
Teen prevention pages would help adults keep conversations open, notice changes, and understand newer substance trends.
For safety and next steps
Overdose prevention and local directory content would make urgent information easy to scan and connect visitors to practical resources.
Substance Information
Education pages for alcohol, cannabis, opioids, fentanyl and xylazine, vaping and e-cigarettes, and tobacco and nicotine. Each page would explain what the substance is, why it matters locally, warning signs, risks, and support options.

Content approach
The final hub could include featured resources, seasonal prevention topics, downloadable materials, or quick filters by audience. This prototype keeps the structure simple so the client can review page relationships first.
When the visitor needs more than information
- If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
- If someone may be overdosing, call 911 and give naloxone/Narcan if available.
- For mental health or substance use crisis support, call or text 988.
- For Hope Council support during business hours, call 262-658-8166.
This box would make clear that resource pages are not a substitute for urgent care, while still offering practical next steps and links into Hope Council support.
Future Content Notes
What the final page would include
The full version could add search, audience filters, featured resource cards, downloadable handouts, and calls to action for peer support, Narcan training, prevention education, and local referrals. Any finalized health or overdose-response copy should be reviewed for accuracy and kept current.
